Group General Inspection of around 120 people coordinates the Crédit Agricole Group’s Audit and Inspection teams comprised of more than 800 employees forming part of an integrated central function.

Organised into a central function, all of the Group’s Audit and Inspection departments report to Crédit Agricole S.A.’s Group General Inspection and work with the same aims and standards.

At the main business entities, two additional general inspections conduct audits on a variety of areas, as well as more specialised internal audits of some of the Group’s key businesses or certain large legal entities.

Crédit Agricole S.A. General Inspection

Performs audits of all Crédit Agricole Group entities (Crédit Agricole Regional Banks, Crédit Agricole S.A. central functions, specialised businesses in France and abroad).

Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank General Inspection

Its activities are focused on corporate and investment banking operations, mostly outside France.

LCL General Inspection

Its activities are focused on a bank with a top-ranking national network involved in all areas of retail banking.

Amundi Internal Audit

Its activities are focused on asset management operations, with 10 asset management centres worldwide. Amundi is the N° 1 asset management company in Europe and in the global top-ten.

Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance Internal Audit

Its activities are focused on consumer finance operations, with the Sofinco and Finaref brands. This entity is market leader in consumer finance in Europe, with operations in 22 countries. Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance’s Internal Audit department (61 employees) is centred around a Central Audit team, carrying out audits in France and abroad.

Crédit Agricole Assurances Internal Audit

Its activities are focused on insurance operations. With operations in nine countries, Crédit Agricole Assurances generates revenues of €25 billion and has assets under management of over €200 billion.
