OUR COMMITMENTS IN PRACTICE

Diversity, Handicap, sustainability... Our commitments are numerous and are structuring our Group.

LCL banks on diversity

LCL partners the ‘Nos Quartiers ont des Talents’ association, which aims to find work for postgraduates aged under 30 from underprivileged neighbourhoods. In 2015, dozens of LCL employees opted to become mentors of a young graduate. Their mission is to launch these graduates’ careers by boosting their confidence, helping them in their job-hunting and giving them access to their own networks.

A women’s network at Crédit Agricole Group

Crédit Agricole CIB employees set up a professional network for women called ‘Potenti’elles’ in 2011. The network offers women and men an opportunity for dialogue and discussion on their professional careers. In 2013, Crédit Agricole SA and Crédit Agricole Assurances followed suit with their own ‘Potenti’elles’ networks to encourage the spread of this good practice throughout the Group.

A strong gesture from Crédit Agricole Regional Banks

As part of their commitment to equal opportunities for the handicapped, the Regional Banks are adapting themselves to alternative ways of working. Over the past 9 years, their ‘Handicap et Emploi au Crédit Agricole’ mission has resulted in the recruitment of over 3,000 handicapped staff via dedicated regional correspondents. Over 4,000 changes to workstations have been made in response to different handicaps (visual, hearing, motor, disabling illness, etc.).

A Group that listens to its employees

In 2015, Crédit Agricole Group introduced an indicator of employee engagement called "Engagement and Recommendation" (IER). This is a strategic workstream for Group HR and is intended to match what employees say to the aims of their company, its values and its development. Action plans derived from IER results are helping to transform the Group in an effective way that takes account of what employees expect as well as the ambitions in the strategic plan.

Young talent to the fore

Every year, Crédit Agricole Group trains 10,000 young people through work-study schemes, internships and international voluntary placements. The Group’s ‘Young Talents’ scheme aims to identify and retain talent. It is composed of youngsters still doing their studies or that are about to graduate that have already had a successful placement with the Group and who then have priority access to opportunities in all our business lines and entities in France and worldwide.
