What would be your job description of “Recruitment Officer”?

This job consists of filling open positions within the company by implementing all the means and tools useful for this mission. Make sure to bring maximum visibility to these jobs. Making contact with potential candidates and the organization with management, validation interviews for these profiles. The follow-up of applications is ensured until the finalization of the hiring proposal.

This function is often carried out by female staff. My integration into this environment happened quite naturally without it being necessary to ask the question about a particular adaptation in terms of diversity.

 

What are the main highlights of your profession over the year?

The evolution in term of skills in this position. Work on the employer image and give visibility to the positions to be filled.

Can you describe a typical day for us?

Consultation of applications in the recruitment tools and processing of requests formulated by email. Organization of interviews with candidates in collaboration with RRHs and other recruitment officers. Daily contact with all the players likely to promote recruitment.

 

What path do you need to have to reach your position and what are the possibilities for advancement?

Good experience in a company, in management or team support functions. I think it is possible to evolve on other missions within the HR teams and why not take over managerial functions.

 

It's a fascinating job, in relation to people and teamwork.

How do you see the evolution of the company in terms of gender diversity?

I think that actions to promote diversity in the company have been carried out for several years. Without saying that there is no subject, I do not have to propose an improvement plan on this point.
